"The Marley / Palm Springs" - Covet Art Gallery's "Eye Candy" Exhibit
Hello Friends,
We have a winner!
Many thanks to all who entered my 2026 print raffle. It was great hearing from all of you.
But first, I thought I'd give a quick visual recap of my California trip and the group exhibit I was just in at the Covet Gallery in Oceanside, California. What a fantastic gallery! If you're in the San Diego area, be sure to check this space out and say hi to it's wonderful owner, Laurie King.
UPCOMING SOLO SHOW:
Essex Art Association's Solo Gantner Award Show
Last Spring, I was honored to receive the 'Solo Gantner Gallery Award' for my original collage "Summer Sisters" (pictured below). The juror, Elaine Juska Joseph, had these nice words to say about my work:
"This artist has a strong, sophisticated command of her medium (collage). In “Summer Sisters”, she chooses to use contrasting color temperatures to give the perception of warm, sun kissed summer skin and cool, bejeweled ocean water, all the while creating movement and atmosphere throughout the composition. It is a masterful work and I look forward to seeing a collection of Ms. Wetmore’s collages together on the Gantner Gallery’s walls."
As a result, from April 17 through May 9, 2026, I will be showing 10 of my original collages in this private gallery space at the Essex Art Association.
I will have prints and notecards available, too. It will be a great way to celebrate Spring.
Please save the Date for the Opening Reception on April 24.
