September Show in Stony Creek & More!

Hi Friends,

September arrives today–and with it, a new show at The Keyes Gallery, an exhibition space at the Willoughby Wallace Memorial Library in Stony Creek, CT (one of my favorite spots along the Connecticut shoreline in Branford, CT). The show actually starts on Sept 11-but wanted to get a jump start telling you about it. This exhibition has been a year in the making and is part of a special invitational series awarded to select artists. My thanks goes out to the entire Keyes Art Committee and to Laura Barr for this amazing opportunity!

I’m excited to share this exhibiti and gallery space with artist, Aaron Tessler, whose striking 3D polymer clay work will make for a fascinating contrast with my collages. Two very different approaches to art, together in one space.

And if you’re coming to see the show, make a day of it! Take a 45-minute boat tour of the Thimble Islands–September is the last month for cruises–and grab a bite at the popular Stony Creek Market.

Art, islands, and lunch sounds like a pretty great September day to me :)

The Shoreline Arts TrailSaturday, November 14 & Sunday, November 15, 2026

This is my third consecutive year doing the Shoreline Arts Trail!I'll be exhibiting alongside my talented friend, Nikki Travaglino of Chrome and Coastlines, at the Madison Historical Society in Madison, CT. It’s always one of my favorite events–a chance to reconnect with familiar faces, collectors and fellow art lovers. I’ll have many original collages, signed prints and notecards available. It's the perfect opportunity to get a head start on holiday shopping while supporting your local artists. Grab a map and hit the trail—we’re number #30 on the map. Free maps can be found in various locations in Branford, Guilford and Madison in the coming weeks...

Looking ahead, I’m excited to have one of my collages "April Hope" selected for a special collaboration between the Lyme Art Association and the 2027 Flower & Garden Show Competition. My work will serve as inspiration for a floral artist, who will interpret it as an original floral arrangement for the show’s competition at the Hartford Convention Center in February 2027. I can’t wait to see how my collage takes on a whole new life in flowers.

I’ll be in touch next month as we ease into fall. In the meantime, have a wonderful Labor Day weekend–and be sure to soak up every last moment of summer!
