New Work: "Madison Marsh": Shoreline Arts Trail
Hello Friends,
I’m thrilled to be part of the Shoreline Arts Trail Open Studios Weekend again this year. Come visit me (and my talented friend, Nikki Travaglino) at Lee’s Academy, just off the Madison, CT Green. This historic spot–also known as the Madison Center for History and Culture–is kindly provided by the Madison Historical Society, who are once again lending us this beautiful little museum to use as our “weekend studio.”
Open Studios Weekend runs Sat, Nov 15 & Sun, Nov 16 from 10AM-4PM. More info can be found here.
There has been a lot of great press about the Shoreline Arts Trail. If you have the latest copy of INK magazine, you might have seen a 6 page write-up about this annual seasonal event. Speaking of news, check out our segment below on Great Day CT. I chatted about the Trail, along with my talented fellow artists (and Madison Art Society board members) Hilary Griffin and Melissa Imossi.
UPCOMING SHOWS
Madison Art Society's 50th Annual Elected Artist Exhibition
Next up after the Trail is the Madison Art Society’s 50th Annual Elected Artist Exhibition. The show runs at the E.C. Scranton Memorial Library in Madison, CT from Monday, November 10 through Friday, January 2, 2026. PS. This is my first year exhibiting as an elected artist :)
🎉 Join me for the Opening Reception Thursday, November 20th | 5:30–7:30 PM Enjoy an evening of art, live music by Bryan Titus, and refreshments in the heart of Madison. This is a FREE event and open to the public.
Clinton Art Society's 2025 Members Holiday Exhibition
After Madison, it's on to Clinton, CT for the Clinton Art Society's Members Holiday Exhibition. Another favorite art society of mine, the CAS Holiday Show will run from November 28, 2025 through January 15, 2026 at the Clinton Town Hall. It's a perfect stop for local holiday shopping.
I hope to see you during the Shoreline Arts Trail Open Studios Weekend on November 15–16, 2025. Thank you, as always, for supporting my work and being part of this journey!
Fondly, Alex
I'm #29 on the Shoreline Arts Trail Map! You can pick up a map in Branford, Guilford, or Madison–at their local libraries or Chambers of Commerce. Click on the image below to find out more about Open Studios Weekend.
