I loved seeing so many of you at the "Summer Festival of Arts & Antiques" recently in Madison, Connecticut.
September officially marks the beginning of my "commission season." I take on a limited number of commissions from now until Oct 31st (this timing ensures all artwork will be ready for the December holidays).

What to know about my commission process:
2023 Pricing: My prices start at $650 for a 8.5x11" collage (unframed) and go up from there (depending on size & subject matter). To give you an idea: a 14x24" original collage of a landscape would run $2,045-unframed (tax & shipping excluded). A down payment of 1/2 the price is required at the start of each commission (Venmo is the preferred method of payment).
NOTE: My email subscribers enjoy special savings when it comes to commissions and original collages. It's not too late to sign-up here.
Subject Matter: People love having their homes (and the views from their homes) replicated as an original piece of art. Landscapes and iconic spots are popular, too. I love creating pet collages, however, I don't do portraits or family gathering set-ups (given my process of hand-tearing swatches from magazines, and painting each swatch on with a water-soluble glue & finish).
Process: I offer FREE initial consultations during the months of September and October to discuss your ideas. Please email me 1-2 photos of your subject matter ahead of our initial call. We will then discuss details (composition, size, framing, timing etc) and also pick a time to view the WIP (work in progress). This WIP call will be a Zoom call, and a link will be sent to you ahead of time.
Timing: My timing usually runs 2-3 weeks from initial consultation to delivery. Please note that is an overall estimate.

The Madison Art Society's 48th Annual Juried Exhibition and Sale closes this weekend at the Scranton Memorial Library in Madison, CT. However, you can still explore the collection online at the above link. I was beyond thrilled to have received the Picasso Award (sponsored by V.F. McNeil Insurance) for my "Onto The Beach" original collage.
Prints: I have a limited number of my signed Lobster Landing prints available for sale. Each 8x10" digital color print is signed by me, comes in a bevel cut 11x14" matte with backing board, and is packaged in a clear, protective bag. The frame is not included, the tax & shipping are...price per print is $45. Shoot me an email if you want one. More prints coming in October!
Speaking of October, I have a solo show coming up at the Henry Carter Hull Library in Clinton, CT. The show is called "Collagescapes: Season 2" and I hope you get a chance to see it in person starting Monday, October 2nd.
